I want to model and federate, without becoming a developer
Work through the tutorials: from a first free model to a diagram editor and a Petri net editor built without code. The cookbook covers recurring tasks such as setting up a resource center, and the vocabulary explains the terms.
I want to federate my own sources
Check first that a technology adapter exists for each of your sources and how mature it is, then look at what you can build for the kinds of results to aim for. Federating sources means writing FML: the vocabulary introduces it.
I want to develop, or contribute
Start with setting up your workspace, then the repository map. To connect a new kind of source, read Write a technology adapter. The community pages list the ways to contribute.
I am a researcher
The Research section explains the scientific problem model federation answers and lists the projects and publications.
